Hi friends!! It has been quite some time since I have made a blog post and it’s actually quite refreshing. A lot has changed since my last post…we won’t get into too much of that now. However, I did want to share my newest photgraphy journey. I no longer have an “in home” studio. I struggled with the thought of giving up newborn photograpy for good, but it is propbably my most favorite subject to photograph. So, given the circumstance, I decided to jump into lifestyle newborn photography. I get a lot of questions swirling around this subject, and I thought a blog post with some super cute models would be informative for all of you mama’s carrying your newest arrival.
Lifestyle photography is a much more relaxed photography experience. Either in your own home, or I will even loan out mine ;). I will capture you, your family and your newest addition, even the furry family members, just hanging out in your natural habitat. These sessions are baby led, meaning we do what baby wants on their schedule. There will still be times for posed newbie photographs, but for the most part, this is a relaxed point and shoot session. Baby can be wide awake, unlike posed studio sessions, or she can be sleeping. Big brother can be screaming in the background, without effecting your photo outcome. So, without further a-do, here are a few examples of my lifestlye newborn sessions this past year. And if you are still reading, I am offering $50 off all Lifestyle newbie sessions through March 31st!
Please let me know if you want to chat about capturing your babe at home-
